Elizabeth Kingston Young is a Los Angeles based photographer who specializes in fashion, still, and commercial photography. As a capturer of light, she aims to present the viewer a moment in time, a frozen instant that not only allows for, but also begs for consideration and contemplation. It is in that space that a photograph is both a window and a mirror for reflection.
Her artistic interests and influences are wide and varied but recently have been centered on capturing the quiet moments of cinematography. The series “Still” is a brief presentation of her recent observations documenting the art of motion pictures; glimpses into otherwise missed moments of the film making process. This series chronicles the creative process and production behind the story being narrated.
She calls Boston and Martha's Vineyard home when not in LA. You will often find her in-between tacos, obsessing about her adored Boston sports teams and chasing sunsets with her pup and beloved.
