FRANK JOEL TAMMARIELLO
Frank Tammariello is an award-winning writer and director of TV commercials, short films and documentaries.
For over twenty years he has seen producing and directing comedy commercials featuring well-known actors, real people and celebrities.
He joined the Director's Guild of America in 1990 and quickly emerged on the short list of top American comedy commercial directors. In his first year, he was awarded for directing Oprah, and has since directed over a hundred spots featuring the comedy of Ellen Degeneres, Roseanne Barr, Bryan Cranston, George Lopez, Martin Short. Also Divine, Teri Garr, John Candy and many more, for national ad agencies and their clients. His work has appeared in every major market in the US.
Twice receiving the CLIO award, Frank's work is included in the collection at MOMA.
In recent years he's coached over 500 actors in on-camera performance, and two screenplays that he has written are now in development. In 2015, he was commissioned to create digital content for DreamWorks Animation.
This exhibition marks the first gallery show in the Los Angeles area of his current photography project, No Man Is An Island.
