Vistas of the World

Born in Ecuador, Kleber Camacho always has an interest in photography. At the age of sixteen, he started his photographic journey with the Agfa-Gevaert box camera. He later graduated to a 35mm fix lens camera. He also experimented with the interchangeable lens camera but it was too cumbersome to carry on his travels. He now prefer to use compact his point and shoot camera.

Kleber Camacho married Mary Martinez in 1966 and immigrated to Los Angeles (Mary's hometown). He attended UCLA and obtained a degree in Engineering. He worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works and retired in 1995. Kleber Camacho also taught Engineering classes at East Los Angeles Community College and did Engineering consultation for Soils Stabilization in several other countries.

Throughout his life, Kleber Camacho has traveled to many parts of the world and has step foot on all 7 continents. From beautiful majestic views of mountains, deserts, and sunsets to hillsides and waterways filled with wonders, Kleber Camacho photographed them to share his travels in his first photographic exhibition at the Walt Girdner Gallery.
